Learning disabilities and ICT, a match made in heaven

I've been fascinated by educational apps since I was 10 years old. I first came into contact with Dainamic software, which introduced me to the first "floppy disks" that allowed students to practice arithmetic, language, French, and more. 

I can't express my talent without a computer, which is why the combination of teaching methods and the use of ICT fascinates me immensely.

Yes... that's me!

From being forgetful, having difficulty reading and spelling, and having messy handwriting, to having thousands of ideas and a lot of courage. 

My journey through school was not straightforward. I was able to succeed thanks to the right support from people and using the right tools. 

I have a master's degree in speech therapy and audiological sciences. However, the past 17 years at Eureka have been the most rewarding learning experience for me.

One thing is clear: you cannot eliminate your weaknesses. You need to reinforce them with the right tools and the help of amazing people.

During my career, I had the opportunity to work at Eureka. Starting as a student, I learned how to teach children with learning disabilities. In the 17 years I've been involved, I have focused on projects that help children reach their full potential.

Eureka, the center of expertise

In Belgium, Eureka supports more than 38,000 children with learning disabilities each year.

It's a school that helps children cope with their learning disabilities. After two years of active teaching, the students reintegrate into their own school.

The project and the people of Eureka were rewarded with titles and awards for their impact on Education.

Learning with Lucas spreads part of the Eureka expertise and makes it accessible.
